Welcome to this week’s edition of Tuesday’s Twi-Spam!
Today’s Twi-Spam is all about The Host’s journey to the big screen, Italy’s pre-screening of “New Moon” (how do you say “no fair” in Italian?!), Kellan’s penchant for teddy bears (srsly? srsly), and much, much more.
In addition, in case you haven’t heard, I began a book discussion on New Moon last THURSDAY. We will be discussing all of the chapters, three per week, and I’ve scheduled our discussion to conclude on the eve of the film premiere. Squee! So I hope you’ll join us for that. For more information and to view the complete reading schedule, please read my intro post.

WOOOOOT!!!! THE HOST!!!!!!!!! =) This is all.
I haven’t read The Host. Is it good? I’m soo behind on my reading. The damn fanfic takes up all my time. :)
I read it and was a wee bit disappointed with it, to be honest. Maybe it was because I kept turning the page looking for Edward… :p
But seriously, it’s not a bad book. It’s just that it doesn’t hold a candle to Twilight, in my very humble opinion.
Oh Annie… Really? Of course Edward wasn’t going to be there. And my humble opinion is that it does hold a candle to Twilight. ;) But if everyone is going to keep expecting Edward Cullen from Meyer she is never going to win. Just saying.
Yeah, I know, I know… But I’m a sucker for Edward, what can I say. Not that I didn’t like The Host, it’s just I didn’t like it as much as Twilight. So I guess we can agree to disagree, my Cutie? ;)
A new hiden section of Twilight! Awesome! But after I read it, I thought it was a little weird. I’m kind of glad they didn’t leave it in.
I have yet to read The Host either. But I must say, Ms. Meyer is one lucky SOB. I mean, who has their very first two books turned into movies??? I’m sure many writers out there are green with envy…
I just got the host for my bday!!!
OK, that missing part of Twilight?! So cute!! Those are my two favorite vampires, so it was sooo exciting to read.
@ Ana – Oh my lovely bunny, we can agree that you are wonderment. And that until you have reread it with an open mind clean of any Edward prejudice I will forget you ever said you didn’t like it. *teasing wink*
@ Jackie – I totally missed the “missing” scene. I will have to read it now. And yes, she is EXTREMELY lucky. As are we the fans.
@Jackie: I thought the outtake was strange, too, and while I liked reading it, I’m also glad it wasn’t included in the final product.
@Joie: Happy Birthday (again!). Let me know how you like The Host, I’m curious to get your opinion.
@Cutie: You know what, I’m going to re-read The Host. But not until I finish re-reading New Moon for the 4,587,901th time. ;)
