I came across these videos today on TWITARDED, and just like Jenny Jerkface, I whiled away the better part of my Saturday afternoon watching them. They are Midnight Sun come to life on screen, created by the singular vision of one insanely talented Dark Soul Vamp.
The visuals are mostly from “Twilight,” but they are used in such a way that they seem brand-new. The music fits the mood perfectly, as does the dialogue.
I’ve included the entire series here for your viewing pleasure. While we only have the partial manuscript of Midnight Sun, since Stephenie Meyer has yet to finish it, Dark Soul Vamp takes it one step further and imagines an ending for it that I think you’ll agree is stunning. It is my hope that Stephenie Meyer will soon come across these videos and find the inspiration to keep writing and someday (soon!) publish Midnight Sun.
